MGF 6-Day Maximum Performance Camp for Women

Serious Cycling has collaborated with two-time National Time Trial Champion, Alison Powers, and prominent female exercise physiologist & nutrition scientist, Stacy T. Sims, PhD, to create The MGF Maximum Performance Camp for Women. As Dr. Sim's so eloquently states, "women are not small men" therefore, training and nutrition must align with female physiology. What sets this camp apart is the attention given to women specific training methods, nutrition, the hands-on instruction athletes will receive each day on and off the bike and the unparalleled level of professional support while out on the Ride! As you will see on your itinerary, we focus on quality miles, not quantity. Allow our team to guide you through the week and the weekend's two-day event, while you enjoy your luxury accommodations at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village! The MGF Maximum Performance Camp for Women is designed for those with a love for travel, who enjoy training and meeting new friends from around the world, and have a desire to grow in their sport. This camp is fully supported by female professionals in the industry: coaches, mechanics, soigneurs and private follow cars stocked with on-the-bike fuel & hydration. Our services take care of ALL the details so all you need to do is EAT, SLEEP, RIDE!

The Malibu GRANFONDO Maximum Performance Camp for Women includes:

  • Event entry into the two-day Malibu GRANFONDO
  • Limited edition, custom designed ASSOS event jersey
  • Six nights at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village
  • Six days of riding in the world-class terrain of the Santa Monica Mountains, the training destination of the pros.
  • 6-week ALP Cycles TrainingPeaks program, designed by Alison, to best prepare you for camp
  • A signed copy of 'ROAR', Dr. Sim's recently released book on matching nutrition & training to female physiology for optimum performance.
  • Welcome reception
  • Daily pre-ride breakfast 
  • Post ride lunch 
  • Nutrition Q & A Skype with Dr. Stacy T. Sims, PhD
  • Post ride yoga for relaxation and rejuvenation 
  • Hands-on coaching on and off the bike
  • Fully supported and guided rides during the week, complete with on-the-bike fuel & hydration and follow vehicles.
  • Post-ride flush out massage 
  • Daily bike maintenance & storage, with your bike ready to Ride! each morning.

Each day will feature a brief pre-ride meeting to outline the route options designed to accommodate all levels of distance and ability, with ride duration ranging between 1.5 to 4.5 hours per day.
